Pastor Casey Kline grew up in a Christian home and was saved at the age of fifteen. He surrendered to preach the gospel shortly after and went on to study at a local church Bible Institute. With a deep passion for Bible teaching, he served as a missionary in Ukraine for 19 years. Casey has been happily married to his wife, Sarah, since 2006, and they have six wonderful children together.

OUR FOUNDING PASTOR
1976-2025
Dr. Paul E. Heaton and his wife (Marie) came to Lupton in 1976 after graduating from Pensacola Bible Institute. They founded Bible Baptist Church in August/September of that same year. God has been very faithful to us over these many years. There have been many trials and tribulations but the Lord has gotten us through them all.
Our ministry, by God's grace, has allowed us to minister in the state prison, the local jail, volunteer chaplain for the MEPS in Lansing MI, and chaplain for the Ogemaw County Sheriff. Also found a radio station (August of 2000), nursing home ministry, a Bible Correspondence course and many other ministries God has granted us the privileged to take part in. Dr. Heaton retired in July of 2025 after 49 years of faithful ministry to Bible Baptist Church.
